Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
ATOMIC Protocol ("we," "us," or "ATOMIC") operates the ATOMIC conviction protocol interface and related services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your choices. We are committed to transparency: we collect only what is necessary to run the Service, sync your profile and reputation, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Data we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Wallet and account data. When you connect a wallet (e.g., via Dynamic Labs or a Solana wallet), we receive your wallet address(es). We store your primary wallet address and associate it with your operator profile (name, handle, bio, avatar) and with reputation and conviction data so we can persist your identity and stats across sessions and devices.
- Profile and identity data. If you sign in with a social or email provider (e.g., Google, X/Twitter, magic link), we may receive and store the email address or social username you use with that provider, as well as any display name or profile image they provide. We use this to prefill or display your operator profile and to sync this information to our backend so your profile is consistent. You can edit or remove profile data in the Service.
- On-chain and usage data. Your on-chain activity (e.g., conviction locks, transactions) is public on the Solana blockchain. We may read this data via RPC or indexers to compute reputation, conviction points, and to show your activity in the Service. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, button clicks, and session duration to understand how the Service is used and to fix bugs and improve performance.
- Technical and device data. We collect IP address, browser type and version, device type, and similar technical data that is routinely sent with web requests. We use this for security, abuse prevention, and basic analytics (e.g., region, device breakdown). We may use cookies and local storage (see Section 5).
3. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to: (a) provide and operate the Service (e.g., authenticate you, show your profile and reputation, sync convictions and stats to our database); (b) personalize your experience (e.g., show your locks and token holdings); (c) communicate with you about the Service (e.g., important updates, security notices); (d) improve the Service (e.g., fix bugs, optimize performance, prioritize features); (e) protect the Service and users (e.g., detect and prevent abuse, enforce our Terms of Service); and (f) comply with applicable law or legal process. We do not use your data for advertising or to sell to third parties.
4. Who we share data with
We share data only as follows:
- Authentication and wallet providers. When you sign in or connect a wallet, Dynamic Labs (and any provider you choose, e.g., Google, X) processes your sign-in and wallet connection. Their handling of your data is governed by their privacy policies. We receive from them only what we need (e.g., wallet address, email or username if you use social login) to create or update your profile and sync with our backend.
- Infrastructure and service providers. We use third parties for hosting (e.g., Vercel), databases, RPC and indexing (e.g., Helius, public RPCs), and market/token data (e.g., Jupiter, DexScreener). These providers process data on our behalf to run the Service. We choose providers that commit to appropriate security and confidentiality; they do not use your data for their own marketing.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- On-chain data. Information you submit that is written to the Solana blockchain (e.g., lock parameters, transaction signatures) is public and can be read by anyone. We do not control how others use that public data.
5. Cookies and local storage
We and our partners use cookies and browser local storage to: (a) keep you signed in (e.g., Dynamic Labs stores session data in localStorage so you stay logged in across visits); (b) remember preferences (e.g., theme, dismissed notices); (c) run essential security and performance checks; and (d) analyze usage (e.g., page views, errors) to improve the Service. You can disable or clear cookies and local storage in your browser; doing so may log you out or reset preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Data retention
We retain profile and account data (wallet address, name, handle, bio, avatar, reputation, convictions) for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Usage and technical logs are typically retained for a limited period (e.g., months) for security and debugging, then deleted or anonymized. On-chain data is permanent on the blockchain; we cannot delete it. You can ask us to delete or correct the data we hold about you (see Section 8).
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data in transit and at rest (e.g., TLS, access controls, secure storage). No system is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your wallet and credentials. We will notify you of material breaches affecting your personal data where required by law.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal and operational retention needs).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Data portability (e.g., a copy of your profile data in a machine-readable format).
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights or ask questions about your data, contact us via the channels in Section 10. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity (e.g., by confirming control of your wallet or email). You can also update or delete your profile information directly in the Service where the product allows.
9. International transfers and jurisdictions
Our servers and service providers may be located in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Data transferred to those jurisdictions may be subject to different data protection laws. Where we transfer data from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions). By using the Service, you acknowledge such transfers.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated via the Service or our official channels (e.g., Twitter @atomic_bags). Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
12. Contact
For privacy-related questions, requests, or complaints, contact us via Twitter @atomic_bags, or the contact information in our documentation. We will work with you to resolve any concerns.
